A container for putting paint that is attached to the spray gun.
　Depending on the mounting position, it is classified into two types : [gravity type] and [suction type] .
　In addition to the differences in content, material, and mounting screw diameter, there are various types such as a free angle mechanism and a lock lever type.

Gravity type (superscript cup)

　A type of paint cup that can be attached to the side (or directly above) the spray gun.
　The weight of the paint itself allows the paint to be carried to the spray gun, which makes it possible to paint even with a small amount of paint.

Suction type (subscript cup)

　A type of paint cup that can be attached directly under the spray gun.
　The air from the compressor is used to suck up the paint from the cup.
　The feature is that there are many relatively large-capacity products in the lineup.

Types of mounting screws

　The paint cup is attached by tightening the screw on the spray gun.
　Normally, the spray gun side has a male screw and the paint cup side has a female screw.
　For spray guns, the mounting screws come in two sizes (with some exceptions), G1 / 4 and G3 / 8.
　In the field of airbrushes, G1 / 8 (also known as S screw) and G1 / 4 (also known as L screw) are generally used.
